Infectious diseases in the world
Globalization is the principal cause of the flooding of infectious diseases. Every year a lot of people is contagious by West Nile Virus, Swine flu and AIDS epidemics as HIV, because people in this open world needs to go to another country for work, fun, vacation and find better opportunities to be successful, as a result we experiment the contagious of Swine Flu, for example according to CNN (2009) in Costa Rica we had 718 confirmed cases with 27 deaths and the majority was in San Jose, so this statistics show that our country is very vulnerable to the infectious diseases. Also in 1999 the West Nile Virus was detected in the Western Hemisphere produce 500 deaths around the world according to the U.S Center for Diseases Control and Prevention. The most important infectious diseases that affect 60 millions people are the HIV. These illness is the most deadly cause in Africa. However, it expands in all continents and millions of people have to live with this every day. Finally, we learn that these diseases are the bad side of globalization and is difficult to control their contagious measures.
